Want a Pavement Project that Lasts Longer, is Faster, and Costs Less? Do FDR with LithTec!

Presented by Richard B. Rogers, P.E., ASCE, with Lithified Technologies US, LLC

BIO: Richard B. Rogers, P.E., is an airport, highway, and industrial pavement engineer and current Deputy CEO for LithTec Texas. He got his start as a Base Pavement Engineer with the US Air Force and has worked for Texas DOT, the Federal Highway Administration, and Cement Council of Texas. He is the author of numerous papers and maintains membership in the American Concrete Pavement Association, ASTM, ASCE, and the National Academy of Science to name a few. Mr. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

ABSTRACT: LithTec is a blended binder developed over a 20-year period to provide a strong durable base. LithTec will achieve an unconfined compressive strength of 400 psi or greater, an elastic modulus of 500,000 psi or greater and yet does not get shrinkage cracking. LithTec bases have been tested to have negligible swelling when saturated for 96 hours and to be extremely resistant to freeze-thaw damage. Additionally, LithTec has been tested to be resistant to highly soluble sulfate soils.
