ABSTRACT: This presentation offers a focused overview of the engineering principles and construction practices behind segmented retaining wall (SRW) systems using Keystone Hardscapes products. Mr. Dave Hasness, P.E., will outline how soil conditions, drainage, loading, and geogrid reinforcement work together with Keystone units—such as Compac®, Standard®, Stonegate®, Valera®, and Regal Stone Pro®—to create stable, long‑lasting walls. Attendees will gain practical guidance on wall layout, site preparation, geogrid placement, and compaction, along with insights into product‑specific features that influence performance and aesthetics. Real project examples will highlight how Keystone Hardscapes SRW systems are applied across residential, commercial, and heavy‑duty environments.
